Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the LuxWorld website and the GeoStamp application (together, the "Service") operated by LuxWorld ("we", "us", "our"). GeoStamp is a product under the LuxWorld brand.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You must not be a resident of, or located in, a jurisdiction in which the Service is unavailable.

2. Account & identity

When you first use the Service, a non-custodial smart account is created on your behalf via our wallet partner. You are responsible for the security of any recovery method you choose (email, social login, passkey, or external wallet). We never store your private keys.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. Stamps

  1. Stamps are digital collectibles representing your personal travel memories. They are recorded on a public blockchain (Arbitrum One) as ERC-721 tokens.
  2. Stamps are non-transferable by design and may not be sold, traded, exchanged, gifted, or otherwise disposed of.
  3. Stamps have no monetary value and are not redeemable for fiat currency by us.
  4. We may revoke, withhold, or refuse to issue a Stamp where we reasonably believe it was obtained by fraud, automation, location-spoofing, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

5. LUX rewards

  1. LUX is an in-app utility/rewards mechanism. You may earn LUX by completing in-app activities and spend LUX inside the app to unlock in-app features.
  2. LUX is not an investment, not a security, not a deposit, not a means of payment, not electronic money, and not redeemable for fiat currency by us.
  3. We may adjust earning rates, prices, or available items at any time. We do not guarantee any specific level of rewards.
  4. We may pause, freeze, or claw back LUX rewards where we reasonably believe they were obtained by fraud, automation, or abuse.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use automated means or location-spoofing to claim Stamps or LUX;
  • reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service;
  • use the Service for any illegal purpose;
  • misrepresent your identity or location;
  • attempt to operate a secondary market in Stamps or LUX in our name.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including blockchain infrastructure and mapping providers). We are not responsible for their availability or for losses caused by them.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will require your re-acceptance inside the app.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction TBD by counsel]. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of [jurisdiction TBD by counsel], save for any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law.
